Description
- Model RM 5001 Disperser is a fully automatic dispersion unit for laboratories and production areas.
- Dispersion is the term used to describe the homogenisation of substances or their optimally mixed condition. As a result of dispersion, it is possible to achieve the ideal state of individual particles (pigments) that have been moistened with binding agent.
- The Disperser RM 5001 offers the additional advantage of being able to disperse multiple specimens up to a total weight of max. 20 kg under identical technical conditions. Consequently, a large number of serial tests can be conducted simultaneously and assessed under the same conditions.
- The cooling device, consisting of two fans installed at the back and front, ensures a constant temperature level with minimal temperature differences between the individual containers.
- The specimens are loaded through the transparent swing door which is equipped with a safety locking switch. The various different sized mixing batches are securely fixed in place:
- manually by hand crank with torque spanner, or
- automatically by means of a clamping motor with electronic clamping control,
depending on the variant.
The basic principle of the mixing process is a vertically excenter arrangement. This is driven by a maintenance-free belt drive which moves a mixing capsule elliptically by about 60 mm at an excentric angle of 8° at a continuously variable speed of 170 – 720 rpm (RM5001 - SPS/02*) using a frequency converter. The mixing time can be electronically pre-selected from a range of 0.1 to 9999 min.
